A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE – During the month of December, the Branch’s Sunshine and Remembrance Committee members coordinate the purchase and delivery of gifts and cards to retired members who are shut-in or are in assisted living facilities.  This year’s contacts will not be made face-to-face because of the restrictions placed on face-to-face interaction because of the coronavirus.  Those members who deliver the gifts will miss the smiles and warm greetings from the recipients of the cards and gifts.  Nonetheless, as they drop off each card and gift, they know that someone’s day was made a bit brighter because someone was thinking of them.
