About 15 of the Restigouche Retired Teachers ventured out recently for an early evening walk in Sugarloaf Park. The target: the campground – to see lights. It’s an easy walk with wide paths and minimal elevation – conducive to chatting with one another along the way. Aside from the beautiful decorative lights, the highlight was gathering around a blazing fire for warmth and a cup of delicious hot chocolate (with marshmallows!)
Thanks to Jane Caldwell for her sled of goodies and her sidekick server and organizer, Micheline Daye.
