Keep Your Balance – Keep Your Independence

Members of the Restigouche Branch took part in a workshop on Fall Prevention with Krista Plourde Gallant, Physiotherapist and Owner of Classic Physio. It was a very informative session. It began with a well-researched presentation on the causes and impacts of falls as we age. The presentation was followed by demonstration and practice of a series of exercises designed to strengthen muscles that support stability. We all left inspired and committed to putting our new knowledge into practice. Here’s to many healthy years of standing strong!

Thanks to Joanne Currie for organizing this event, and to Gail Craswell for her reporting.  We highly recommend to our colleagues across the province.
