NBSRT Announces
2022 Scholarship and Bursary Recipients

After reviewing a number of applications which were submitted by very qualified students, the NBSRT Scholarship and Bursary Committee is pleased to announce that a scholarship valued at $2500 has been awarded to Jessica Allison and a bursary valued at $2500 has been awarded to Maranda Pert-Hoyt. 

Jessica Allison, a graduate of James M. Hill Memorial High School, is currently attending the University of New Brunswick where she is enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Arts program.  Upon completion of her degree, Jessica looks forward to sharing her artistic talents through art education, lighting work in the theatre and to being a community-based artist. Congratulations to Jessica and best wishes as she continues her education.

Maranda Pert-Hoyt, a graduate of Minto Memorial High School, is attending NBCC Fredericton where she is enrolled in the Practical Nurse program.  Dedicated to pursuing a career in the health sector, Maranda very much looks forward to working in her chosen field and eventually establishing a special care facility for members of the vulnerable sector.  Congratulations to Maranda and best wishes as she attains her career goals.

The NBSRT Executive wishes to provide support to any branch wishing to celebrate a special anniversary.If you are planning to celebrate a branch related anniversary in 2026, you can apply to receive a grant of $10 per year in support of the celebration.
