New Official Logo Released

Nov 23, 2020 – The New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers is pleased to unveil its dynamic new logo.

As a symbol of NBSRT’s goal to be a more progressive and responsive organization that is proud of its past accomplishments but seeking to move forward with renewed vigor, we are excited to launch our new logo. You will note that, while we have retained some of the traditional aspects of our original logo, we have developed a colorful, recognizable, and modern symbol to represent us going forward.

The new logo was selected from submissions after NBSRT members and external contributors were invited to submit designs.  The Online Media Committee reduced the submissions to several possibilities and conducted a Facebook poll of NBSRT members to narrow the choices further.  Based on the selection process, the Online Media Committee recommended one design to the Executive.

On behalf of the members, we want to thank everyone who played a role in the development and selection of the logo.

______________

SPOILER ALERT – This logo reveal is the first step in a three-pronged initiative that will also include the launching, in early December, of a much improved and more flexible website. The third prong of this initiative will be a new strategic plan developed over the next few months, but kick started shortly by a survey of the membership that will give every member an opportunity for input into the strategic plan.

We trust that you will quickly come to associate this logo with your evolving organization.

Bob Fitzpatrick, President

New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers

Kudos to Dale MacRae and the on-line media committee for all their hard work in giving us a new and more up-to-date website. The new logo and website will be the envy of the other provinces!
