Carleton-North York Branch Back to School Breakfast

September 8, 2026, was the first day of school for students & teachers province wide AND another back-to-school breakfast for the retired teachers of the NBSRT! That’s right….no supervision duty, no lesson planning and absolutely no staff meetings…. just a yummy breakfast and great company to kick off another school year of retirement!

Denny's, Lake George

There were three locations for breakfast in the Carleton/North York Branch: Denny’s, The Club House Restaurant and Potato World. All three breakfasts were well attended with lots of laughter and shared stories of past first days of school.

The Club House Restaurant, Woodstock

Potato World, Florenceville-Bristol

It was a wonderful way to kick off another eventful year of fun activities for the CNY Branch of the NBSRT. Thank you to those who planned and helped organized!
