Password Tips

A. Do not use the same password in several places. e.g.: Facebook, Amazon or Banking
If one of your sites is hacked then hackers will also have access to the other sites that use the same password.

B, Length of your password is the most important thing in selecting a new password. The longer the better. Below are some good passwords.

12789946//pq77686 (very strong – time to crack this password – 359 million years)

candydogchristmasfencemotherkittenfriday (Even stronger – time to crack this password – 27 trillion years)

C. Many times your password is NOT cracked by hackers – it is simply stolen from a site that they hacked on which you had an account. You can check to see if your password may have been on a site that hackers have broken into by going to this site and typing in your password.

The site will look like the screen below.

Just type in a password that you use and click the button on the right, It will tell you if any site where you used that password has been hacked. If so change this password immediately.

Hackers sell lists of names, passwords etc on the Dark Web.
